4. Data collection on our website

Cloudflare
We use the content delivery services of Cloudflare Inc, 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA on our website. When using Cloudflare’s services, from a technical point of view, the data transfer between your browser and our website is routed via Cloudflare’s network. In doing so, the data traffic between your browser and our website is analysed in order to detect malicious attacks from the Internet on our website. This serves the security and delivery speed of our website. As part of the use of Cloudflare, cookies or other technologies are used by Cloudflare to recognise our website visits. When using Cloudflare, your IP address, among other things, is transmitted to the service provider. The processed data is used solely for the above-mentioned purposes. The legal basis for the processing of your personal data in the context of the use of Cloudflare is, pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit f) DS-GVO, our legitimate interest in providing our website as securely and error-free as possible. We have concluded an additional agreement with the service provider for order processing. As it cannot be ruled out that the IP addresses of our website visits are transmitted to Cloudflare in the USA when using Cloudflare’s services, the EU standard contractual clauses have also been agreed with the service provider in order to ensure a sufficient level of data protection. Further information on data protection at Cloudflare can be found at https://www.cloudflare.com/de-de/gdpr/introduction/.

Cookies
Some of the Internet pages use so-called cookies. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit. You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited. Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions that you have requested (e.g. shopping basket function) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of its services. Insofar as other cookies (e.g. cookies to analyse your surfing behaviour) are stored, these are dealt with separately in this data protection declaration.

Server log files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

– browser type and browser version
– Operating system used
– referrer URL
– Host name of the accessing computer
– Time of the server request
– IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources. The basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO, which permits the processing of data for the fulfilment of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

Contact form
If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact data you have provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent. The processing of the data entered in the contact form is therefore based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time. For this purpose, an informal communication by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation. The data you entered in the contact form will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to store it or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after we have completed processing your request). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

6. Plugins and tools

Google reCAPTCHA

We use “Google reCAPTCHA” (hereinafter referred to as “reCAPTCHA”) on this website. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

The purpose of reCAPTCHA is to determine whether data entered on this website (e.g., information entered into a contact form) is being provided by a human user or by an automated program. To determine this, reCAPTCHA analyzes the behavior of the website visitors based on a variety of parameters. This analysis is triggered automatically as soon as the website visitor enters the site. For this analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates a variety of data (e.g., IP address, time the website visitor spent on the site or cursor movements initiated by the user). The data tracked during such analyses are forwarded to Google.

reCAPTCHA analyses run entirely in the background. Website visitors are not alerted that an analysis is underway.

Data are stored and analyzed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the protection of the operator’s websites against abusive automated spying and against SPAM. If appropriate consent has been obtained, the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TTDSG, insofar the consent includes the storage of cookies or the access to information in the user’s end device (e.g., device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TTDSG. This consent can be revoked at any time.

We use “Cloudflare Turnstile” on this website. The provider is Cloudflare Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (hereinafter “Turnstile”).

Turnstile is used to check whether the data input on this website (e.g., in a contact form) is done by a human or by an automated program. For this purpose, Turnstile analyzes the behavior of the website visitor based on a number of characteristics.

This analysis starts automatically as soon as the website visitor enters a website that uses Turnstile. For the analysis, Turnstile evaluates various information (e.g., IP address, time spent on the website or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis is forwarded to Cloudflare.

The storage and analysis of the data is based on Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting his web offerings from abusive automated spying and from Spam. If such consent has been obtained, the data will be processed exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TTDSG, if the consent comprises the storage of cookies or access to information on the user’s device (e.g., device fingerprinting) as defined in the TTDSG (German Telecommunications Act).
